Where is a good place to vacation in PA?

I need help finding a good vacation spot in PA????

• my husband, 2 small, kids and i are looking for a place in the eastern half of PA to vacation at. a perfect place would be just like the lake from Cheaper By The Dozen 2.. here are the things i am looking for in a place lake house, cabin, cottage type of rentals fishing swimming family friendly paddle boat rentals some place big enough that they would have life guards at the lake. but i dont want a crowded place. please tell me if you know of a nice place like this or if you have been to one.

  Try Lake Harmony in the Poconos. There are cabins that people rent out. There is also a hotel at Split Rock Lodge, which is right at the lake. They have all you listed above and much more. My uncle owns a house there. It's a really beautiful place. I was there on vacation last August. It wasn't crowded at all. It's exactly what you're asking for.
