What are some fun things to do in Philadelphia?

    Go: see the Liberty Bell, but don't be shocked if it is smaller than you think. to Independence Hall and see where the Declaration of Independence was signed. to Betsy Ross house. to JFK Plaza and take photos of the cool fountain. to Rittenhouse Square to the Museum of Art and try running up the "Rocky" steps. Also go inside to see some beautiful art. to the Rodin Museum to see fantastic sculptures. Take the Philly Phlash ($5 for an all day pass) to go from place to place. Park at Independence Hall visitor center, where they give you discounted parking if you present your Phlash ticket. These are just the few things I did on my weekend in Philly.

Adding on to the person above me: Constitution Center. One of the newer attractions. Really cool place and they even have a hall with lifelike statues of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. At night you can go to South Street where there is a lot of shops and lights and stuff to do and is very lively. There is also the Eastern State Penitentiary which was the first Penitentiary in the world. Really neat place. Reading Terminal market is great place to get lunch. It is big, busy and there are many choices of food to eat. Another place (one of my favorites) is the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. The Mutter Museum is a collection of diseases and weird things that have happened to the human body....pretty creepy but intriguing. The Italian Market. A street full of food stands and little shops. Pat's and Geno's...BUT I would recommend going to Tony Luke's in South Philly. They have better cheesesteaks Penn's Landing has a ship and a submarine you can go in. There is so much to do in Philly!
