When was Pennsylvania found?
-
i have to research about Pennsylvania and i know that william penn found Pennsylvania but wen did he find it??
-
Answer:
Well, he didn't "find" it since it was already inhabited by native peoples and it was being inhabited by the Europeans before it was actually "Pennsylvania" but the geographic area was ESTABLISHED as Pennsylvania on February 28, 1681. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania#History And if you read it.. it wasn't named for William Penn, even though the land was given to him, but for his father.
