I want to stay on PENROSE Ave. in south philly by the Wachovia Center. Is this area safe?Thanks?

Answer:
I think the hotel you are talking about is the same on I told you on your previous question not to stay at. It is a place where kids from the area rent for the weekend to party and more than a few drug deals have been prevented by police. It is on 20th st where Penrose and Packer Aves meet. If you need to be close to the stadiums I'd go with the Holiday Inn at 10th and Packer. It is much closer (walking distance) and much nicer.

holiday inn is only hotel near stadium, definitely do not use the one on penrose, if you want more upscale, those hotels are only a subway ride away on broad st.
