Good place to stay in Philadelphia (Kennett Square)?

I am 27 yr old female. Will be moving to Philadelphia soon. Will work in Kennett Square. What is a good area to stay near there? I am willing to travel some distance to work, my most important criteria is safety. I want to be in a super good neighborhood in a good apartment. thanks!
