What's a good hotel near Wachovia Center in Philadelphia?

  • Going for a concert in October. I see that the holiday inn is close but heard not that good so was looking somewhere else, walking distance would be nice but not necessary. Somewhere with some nightlife maybe after the concert. Someone told me Sofitel Hotel??

    You can stay at the Holiday Inn right up the street from the center and the stadiums. Its a long block but its worth it and when concerts are over, septa is mobbed and takes forever to get home. That is your best bet =)

theres one right next to the park witch is really nice. i stayed there before while my cousin was in CHOP. i'm pretty sure its holiday inn

I'd do a hotel in Center City. It's a quick subway ride to the Wachovia Center. And if there's something going on down there, the subways will be packed with other people going to the same thing. The Broad Street Subway line goes directly to the Wachovia Center. So anything in Center City close to Broad St. will give you easy access to the WC. I really liked the Doubletree at Broad and Locust when we were there.

Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
