What train can I take from West Chester, PA to Philly?

Need transporation help?! West Chester to State College PA?

  • A need to take a bus or something from West Chester, PA to State College,PA . . I don't have a car so i need another mode of transportation... any ideas?!

  • Answer:

Take SEPTA bus 92 from West Chester to the Exton RR Station. Take Amtrak Keystone service to Harrisburg. Then either Fullington bus or Greyhound to State College. OR SEPTA to King of Prussia Greyhound King of Prussa to State College Or try Craigslist Rideshare. 40,000 students will be travelling up to the College any day now. Passenger trains haven't run to State College at least 40 years. I grew up there.

No train gets within 30 miles of State College. You have to take a bus. Greyhound has service from Philly. You just take the SEPTA 104 bus to 69th St. Terminal in Upper Darby. There you catch the Market-Frankford El and take that to Market East Station. From there it is one block to the Greyhound Station at 11th and Filbert.

Can't you take a train from Exton to State College? Have a friend drop you off at the station or get a cab. Exton isn't that far from West Chester.
