Things to do in Philadelphia?

  • I was planning on going with my family to some East coast cities. I was thinking that Philadelphia could be on of the cities to go to. I would like to stay there 2-3 days and will be going in mid April. Will there be a lot of family friendly things to do there in the spring. Can you name some nice attractions and places you enjoyed visiting while you were there.

See the liberty Bell & the constitution center Go to the art museum (atleast the steps :) Philadelphia Zoo Adventure Aquarium Franklin Institute (great for kids) Please touch museum (for young children) Ride the ducks tour (fun & see the city) Eat an authentic cheesesteak

the constitution center - there is also a park across from there that has a carousel and min golf -very cute The philadelphia zoo is always fun. depending on the ages of your children the please touch museum is amazing - we go there all the time south st to walk around and pens landing they have a ship tour . the spirit of philadelphia is always fun to across the river you can take the ferry to the camden aquarium and the children's garden - the garden has a beautiful butterfly house the just land on your fingers!!! the duck ride or the bus tour I like the prison tour - on fairmount the art musuem and its free admission on sunday mornings and it is great to run up the rocky steps!! boat house row to walk around there is a cafe at loyd hall or waterworks restaurant is amazing at night! ginos or pats for cheese steaks china town lucky strike bowling on chestnut betsey ross house and other historical sites are all around the constituion center I think thats enough . I hope you have fun!!
