What age did your mom let you go places by yourself places like philadelphia but with a boy?

    my parents didn't let me do anything like that until i was in college. but i try to be more open with my own daughter who is almost 17. if you and your mom have a fairly good relationship, just be honest and ask permission to go. offer to call and check in to let her know you're ok and even be back a little earlier than she expects you to be. i know when my daughter does these things, it helps to ease my mind, and it makes me want to give her more time before checking in the next time around

Uh.. I'm 15 & me and my best friend rode the train to Philadelphia one day just to site see. It was extra fun because there's a lot to see! There's no GOOD malls IN Philadelphia, only in the outer area, King Of Prussia is amazing, but kinda far from Philadelphia. The best you'll have in Philly is a park. or The Gallery, which doesn't have any good stores. & we ride the train to Atlantic City to the beach alone all the time. Just ask your mom, i'm sure she won't make a big deal out of it. Philly isn't dangerous during the day. People get paranoid, it's not all that bad.
