Devon to Wynnewood along the Rt. 30 area is considered the "Main Line" and one of top 25 richest areas in the US! Most of Chester County (outside of Coatesville) is also very nice. Chester Co. is one of the richest county in the state of PA

Montgomery county is the richest county in PA, and Bucks is right behind. Most of Montogmery is affluent - outside of Norristown area. Central Bucks (Ivyland, Buckingham, New Hope, Doylestown) is very expensive. upper Bucks is gaining ground, but lower Bucks is not somewhere most people prefer to live. Chester is also pricey with all the horse farms and all that. Some Jersey suburbs are better than others (Marlton) , kind of hit or miss with others. Camden is plain old scary.

Too many to list, but to Joseph's list I would add Bala Cynwyd, Bryn Mawr, Bryn Athyn (I'm NOT making up these names!), Berwyn, Paoli, Radnor, Saint David's, Lower Merion, Upper Merion, Merion Station, Narberth and Cherry Hill. Sorry if I repeated any.
