Is Bensalem, PA (near Philadelphia) safe place to live?

Me and my wife are going to stay there for 2 months. Please let me know if Bensalem is a good and safe place to live. If not, we will think about some other place around that place. My work place will be in Bensalem. Thanks !

Bensalem is a safe, wonderful place to live and it's right off the PA Turnpike so/traffic/transportation is not a problem. I don't know if these issues might affect you and your wife but their public school system needs help (like most of PA), their tax-issues need to be addressed and their nightlife is not the best in the world. Other than that - go for it. Welcome

not really,considering the fact that there are more crimes [violent] there than in any other town in bucks county.it is livable you won't have a drive by shooting like in Philly.there are a lot of projects there.i personally would not live in Bensalem

I never heard of any projects in Bensalem. NE Phila is nice to in the Parkwood area. Depends where in bensalem. I would not move to any of the apt. complexs on Knights Road though.

i have lived in bensalem my whole life and i love it. its a nice safe place to live. its a middle class area so there are not alot of crimes and drugs.
