Looking for recommendation for tours of Philadelphia, PA?

I am looking for recommendations for both tour companies and specific tours to take while visiting the City of Brotherly Love. We have found a number online, and are looking for advice on standout tours. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The two biggies are Ride The Ducks and The BigBus/Trolley tour from Phila Trolley Works. Both are very good, the main differences are that the Ducks tour goes into the water a little and is more informal (with duck quackers, etc), and the BigBus/Trolley is hop on hop off, meaning you can use it as transport as well (Ducks is one ride only). You would be fine with either of these.

Most of the good tours operate out of the far north end of the city. Ask around for "tron", and he can show you around.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, but I never really went on a tour bus around my city. One place that I definitely recommend going to is Philadelphia's Chinatown. You should stop by one of the many bakeries and get one of the well-known "Bubble Teas." They are smoothies with pearls in it that are delectable!

If you are visiting Philadelphia during nicer weather I highly recommend taking a tour on the Big Bus Co. I find this is a great way to orient yourself to the city and get a feel for the overall layout of the city. Plus you can hop on and hop off wherever you want for 24 hours.
