Has anyone moved from New Jersey to Pennsylvania?

What is the best and cheapest way to take a bus or train from Pennsylvania to New Jersey? Companies?

  • Yeah. I want to try to find the best and cheapest way to get from Pennsylvania to New Jersey. I've heard that buses are cheaper than trains and I've heard the other way around as well. Like if anyone knows any companies or websites or sumthing I could check out, that would be great! :) thanx

    It really depends on where in Pennsylvania and where in New Jersey. If you're leaving from the Poconos, it will probably be on Martz Trailways. From the Lehigh Valley, it will probably be on Transbridge. And if you leave from the Philly area, it will be SEPTA or NJ Transit.

Well if you would give us a your destination & departure city it would be easier to give you a straight answer. The only buses & trains that you will find going to NJ are Septa & NJ Transit. Amtrak does too but thats the most expensive. The megabus doesn't go to NJ & the Bolt Bus only goes to the Cherry Hill Mall. As far as if its cheaper to go by train or bus you will need to look for you specific places. The Septa R7 train goes from Philly to Trenton. There is a NJ transit bus that goes from Philly to Burlington NJ & stops through lots of towns like camden, Pennsauken, Delran, Willingboro, etc. Look them up on these sites http://www.septa.org/ http://www.njtransit.com/
