Does it snow alot in Allentown Pa?

I was wondering how is it in Allentown pa, is it quiet or is it ghetto i have herd from alot of people that?

    been there, and it is pretty boring. I am from NY, and moved to Bucks County, PA, close to NY - 90 min, 40 from Philly, but still a quiet suburban setting.

Like most medium size towns, it has good areas and bad areas. So if you want to live in a "good area," pick a good area of Allentown to live in. And you'll be in a good area. That may sound simple and even condescending, but it's reality! One point about Allentown, it's part of a "tri-city" area of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton, PA . . . with Phillipsburg, (NJ divided from Easton, PA only by a bridge. So it's a fairly metropolitan area made up of 3 . . . or 4 . . . medium size towns, surrounded and divided by a lot of smaller "semi-rural" though less and less all the time) and suburban sprawl towns.

I've never been to Allentown before. However, winter commutes are horrible. They get a lot of snow. If you want to move somewhere quiet, try Cheltenham, PA. Its right outside of Philly so you're really close to everything you need.
