Good places to shop in Philadelphia?

What is Center City Philadelphia?

  • Hi, so tomorrow i am going to center city philadelphia with my mom, cousin, aunt, and uncle, and a friend. But, what is center city? Is it fun? Is there any cool places to shop, eat at, or visit? Is it like New York?

    Like any where in the world they do have so bad areas if you take the wrong turn but center city is great it is a historical area. We have nice restaurants and theaters. Of course some places are more expensive than others but it is a nice area. But keep in mind it is really cold now so I don't know how much you want to do outside right now.

yes all of the above. center city is the heart of shopping, entertainment,restaraunts. you can find good deals on everything at the small stores you just walk by on the street stay away from the malls theres better shopping at the smaller stores

never been to NY but i do live in philly...center city got like historical places..very nice there...you could go to the gallery which is near china town...south street is cool too lots of places to eat and have fun...but tracfic is a ***** never no where to park on the street so dont even bother...you can pay for parking they have those every where...about 10 dollars...you could try genos...and pats for the foood if you like cheese steaks...just have fun and BE CAREFUL..hope i helped...God Bless who the hell gave mii a thumb down on this ?..naw i know what im talkin about i live in philly these others people probaly just visited!!!!

Its not like New York! its not that crowded but it is nice! there are alot of stores in the gallery which is on 10th street! its fun and there are alot of food places! I was in Times Square for the ball drop and new york is wayy better but still too COLD!!

No it isn't like New York. I mean, they have Target, a mall and a lot of shopping. Don't walk down too far since it can lead to some crummy neighborhoods.
