How far is HOLY HILL from PORTAGE?

Is it easy to travel back and forth from Cherry Hill, NJ to Philly?

  • A friend and I are planning to take a trip to Philly, but we want to avoid all the traffic by staying in Cherry Hill...is that a good idea? Is there a form of public transportation that we can use? How far is Philly from Cherry Hill? Is Cherry Hill a good area?

    Cherry Hill is very close to Philadelphie. From Center City it is about 20 minutes or more depending upon traffic. Why not stay in Philly and use public transportation to get around. There really isn't much traffic except during lunch hour and rush hour when everyone is returning home. If you do choose to stay in Cherry Hill you can take NJ transit to Center City Philly without a problem. Have fun!

There'd be more traffic going to & fro Cherry Hill. Why not just stay in Philly & take a cab everywhere?! There's so many resturants & clubs to goto, most within walking distance, why drive??

Cherry Hill is nearby, about 20 minutes to downtown Philly, but you could probably do better by staying just outside of center city but in Philadelphia. Check out this website for info about the city: http://www.GoPhila.com/
