What to do for fun in Harrisburg, PA?

I need help getting to/from Harrisburg, PA via CAT buses...?

• I am in Carlisle, PA and my friends and I would like to go to Harrisburg for the Day. I was told that I could take the CAT Buses. According to my friend and this website http://cattransit.com/routes_and_schedules_bus.php , Route C is my choice to get to Downtown Harrisburg. When it drops us off, where will we be exactly? Close to shopping/underground/bus to the malls/attractions? When I click on the "link" on Route C, it gives me prices, etc. but the map is too blurry for me to understand anything. Also, how can I find out when the bus comes to Carlisle/Downtown Harrisburg? Is it on the internet, or should I just go to the CAT stop in Carlisle and see if it is there.

  You were really close to the answers. Page 2 of the link gives you the schedule: http://cattransit.com/routepdfs/Route_C_Carlisle_Local.pdf CAT buses only have AM and PM schedules, they do not run all day long. Page 2 is much clearer than the map on page 1. You would probably want to get off at Market Square (2nd & Market), stop #2 on the map, if you want shopping. Strawberry square is the "mall" in downtown Harrisburg. BUT its nowhere near the Harrisburg Mall, which is HUGE. There are lots of little shops in the area, but you will have to walk around quite a bit.
