Is there anything unique about South Philadelphia, PA?

Philadelphia, PA - Blue Bell, PA public transportation?

  • What's the fastest way to get from Philadelphia, PA to Blue Bell, PA by public transport? I already looked it up on Google Maps, and it looks like it takes 2 hours one way. Is there anything faster? Thanks!

  • Answer:

you can either take the Market-Frankford Line westbound to 69th Street Terminal, then the Rt. 100, Norristown High Speed line to Norristown Transportation Ctr, then the 96 bus. -OR- You can take the Norristown Regional Rail line, and get off at Norristown Transportation Ctr, and the 96. The Regional Rail will cost more, but will get you there waaaaaay faster than the first option.

Center city to Upper Darby 20 minutes by subway, 100 rail to Norristown about 35 to 40 minutes then the 96 bus to bluebell about 25 minutes so 1hour 25 minutes to Blue Bell with perfect connections.
