Franklin Institute King Tut exhibit?
-
Can anybody tell me if King Tut's body will be displayed in Philly for the exhibit?
-
Answer:
No, only artifacts from his tomb. From Philadelphia Daily News article: "Not part of either exhibit is Tut himself. The mummy remains in its burial chamber in Egypt's Valley of the Kings. It has only been taken out four times for examination." - "With the arrival of 2 huge shows, Philly is Tut Town" By ROBERT STRAUSS Philadelphia Daily News February 2, 2007 http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/entertainment/16604031.htm Still, it sounds like a cool exhibit, even without his actual body.
