Have you ever been to Gettysburg PA?

Hotel in Gettysburg, PA that is in walking distance to most attractions?

• Any suggestions hotels in Gettysburg, PA that are in walking distance to most attractions? We've been to Gettysburg once before for a Wine Festival, however our hotel was not close to any attractions. We had to take a taxi service into town. Once in town, it seemed as though there was one main street where most of the historical attractions were (or at least where most of the tourists seemed to be). I've seen quite a bit of Bed and Breakfasts, but we would really prefer a hotel instead. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  Hi, I was looking for the same info last year, and now I think i can help you. Wyndham Gettysburg was where we stayed when we went there. it is in 95 Presidential Circle, close to all attractions and pretty convenient, too. Gettysburg National Military Park, National Park Museum & Visitor's Center and downtown Gettysburg are all within walking distance. Apart from history, this place is also filled with modern atmosphere. the rooms are large and well equipped with the basic amenities you will need. the staff are friendly too. I can't say it is perfect, but it absolutely worth the money you spend.
