Help! People that know Pennsylvania! Where do I look for a house?

My cousins boyfriend landed a job as a Chef at Lautrec in Farmington, Pennsylvania..... We live in Arizona and have NEVER been to the East Coast! Anyway, I know you cant live in farmington, so where should I look for a house at? Im trying to help them find a house for rent. Also, my cousin is a RN, so areas with hospitals/etc... would be helpful. If not thats okay. (In arizona we have major hospitals EVERYWHERE... not sure about PA??) Sorry, We've just been west coast girls our whole lives! So we dont know anything about the northeast, besides it looks very beautiful!! Advice would also be helpful!! Thanks so much!

Wow, I had to look this one up to find this town. It is 50 miles south of Pittsburgh, which is in the western part of the state. I am sure there is housing in that area, and it probably will be inexpensive. I would contact a local realtor in town for help. As far as RN employment, you will not find many hospitals in this rural area. This appears to be a resort area. I do not know if your cousin would want to commute to Pittsburgh for a nursing position. Best wishes and welcome to Pennsylvania!

Look on realtor.com for information on housing. Unless you are in a very rural part of the state, there will be a hospital close by. She could be a visiting nurse and not work in a hospital or work in a doctor's office. She could get certification to be a school nurse. Not all nurses work in hospitals.
