Are there any cheap motels in/near Philadelphia?

Does anyone know where any cheap motels in philadelphia are where i can spend about 200 a week..?

  • Answer:

two choices but only one is really palatable. you got the hub motel on roosevelt pkway but thats usually booked. so drive up roosevelt into bensalem and as soon as you cross the city line and you see the welcome to ben salem sign, you will see neshaminy inn, knights inn and lincoln motel. skip em. at the end of the chain is sunrise inn. $5 dollar cash deposit, $45 a night during the week and 50 or 55 on the weekends and holidays. rooms are relatively clean though they smell of stale cigarettes. shower floors range from smooth tile to pumice, usually the pumice variety. its across the road from a red roof inn but its my mainstay when i go to philly. if i could find a cheaper place closer to north philly, i'd be there more often instead.

Hey, I wouldn't even think about any hotel that you would only pay that much a week. Let me give you a for instances.. the days inn in Philadelphia starts at $130 a night and is dirty. I would reconsider your trip or whatever you were doing.
