Hotel Suggestions near Sesame Place in Pennsylvania?
-
I'm getting ready to take my 20 month old to Sesame Place in Pennsylvania - Does anyone have any suggestions for a good hotel near the amusement park that we can stay at that won't cost an arm and a leg? I want to be within 10-15 miles from the park. Thanks!

Hold on- I have coupons and I'll check the link on the back of them... There is a Red Roof Inn on Route 1 just off the Turnpike. If you're looking for somethng a little nicer, there's a Hampton Inn in Bensalem. And I would reconsider taking a 20 month old to Sesame Place. I would wait until next year when he or she could really enjoy it.

I think this may answer your question and Street Road (PA-132 - close to US-1) is not a bad place to stay near Sesame Place. Have a great time!

If there is one nearby, I totally recommend staying at a Choice hotel. We always stay at one lately when travelling. (Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Clarion, Quality, Sleep Inn, etc) http://www.qualityinn.com/hotel-bensalem-pennsylvania-PA491?promo=gglocal Here's a complete list of near-by hotels: http://reservations.hotel-guides.us/nexres/search/search_results.cgi?interstitial=done&avail=Y&bed_type=NP&src=10011670&address_lat_lng=40.186055%2C-74.871266&max_distance=10&poi_name=Hotels+near+Sesame+Place+-+Sesame+Street+Theme+Park+-+Langhorne%2C+Pennsylvania&smoking_pref=NP&tab=tab0&search_city_vicinity=1&t0_distance=10&chk_in=07%2F24%2F2009&doa_mm=07&doa_dd=24&doa_yy=2009&chk_out=07%2F25%2F2009&dod_mm=07&dod_dd=25&dod_yy=2009&num_adults=1&num_children=1&num_rooms=1&minorAge1=1&minorAge2=-%3F-&minorAge3=-%3F-&minorAge4=-%3F-&Go=Find+Hotels

This Ramada Inn at Levittown is perfect - we stayed there for our Sesame trip and will stay there next time we go. It is partnered with Sesame Place and they include discounted park tickets with your room rates if you'd like (I think it ends up being a savings of $5 per ticket). There is also a great pool and playground, and they have balloon artists and face painting during the continental breakfast. It's a great hotel, and is about 10 minutes from Sesame Place. http://www.ramada.com/Ramada/control/Booking/modify_dates?areaType=1&destination=Philadelphia&state=PA&country=US&variant=&id=13134&propBrandId=RA&force_nostay=false&tab=tab1 If the link doesn't work, it's the Ramada Inn in Levittown, PA, on the Bristol Pike. It's very easy to get to as well.
