Good High Schools in Philadelphia?

Are there any really good high schools in Philadelphia???

    Actually, yes, there are. All of these are what are known as Magnet Schools, they must be applied to and admission is limited: Central High School (Often rated as one of the best public high schools in the US) Girls High (Now coed) - Formerly Central's sister school when it was all male, now almost if not equally as good Masterman In terms of special interest schools, there is also CAPA - High School for Creative and Performing Arts and HSES - High School for Engineering in Science.

I believe Masterman goes up to high school. It's located in Center City at the corner of 17th and Spring Garden. They were recently ranked within the Top 100 in the country (#52 if I remember correctly).

There are actually many. Central has a good reputation, along with MAST Charter. As for Catholic high schools, many of them are decent. For example, Nazareth Academy, Archbishop Ryan, and Holy Ghost Prep (that may be in Bensalem though) all have good reputations.
