Good places to shop in Philadelphia?

• ok I have a couple of questions about living in Philadelphia. I'm applying for drexel and upenny as an international student (no dont tell me the admission is closed cuz for international students it's different i contacted them) 1-is 2200$ monthly enough for renting, food, transportation and entertainment? I shop alot.. 2-I won't have license as I won't be 18 till December.. how is it possible for me to go to places? what are the public transportation? 3-how's drexel university? is it good? 4-is it a fun and lively city? i heard it's dull and boring.. also i hear that the crime rate is high, is that true? that's all, thanks in advance

  1. Yes that is enough. 2. Public transportation is affordable and can get you anywhere you need to go. You can definitely get by fine without a car. The transit company is at www.septa.com. 3. Drexel is a very good school. 4. There is more to do in this city than you will ever have time for including bars, restaurants, shopping, museums, cultural attractions, festivals, parades, and more. It is only dull and boring if you choose make it that way. As far as crime, it has crime just like any big city. If you use common sense, you should be fine. The universities all have their own police and keep the campuses well-lit at night.
