What is the best way to get to New York City from Philadelphia?

What would be the best way to get from Atlantic City Airport into Philadelphia?

  • I'm meeting a friend up in Philadelphia, but I can get a flight for half price if I land in Atlantic City. I don't want to make him drive all that way, so I'm trying to find public transportation that can get me somewhere in Philadelphia where I can meet up with him. What's the best way to do this, that's preferably under $50 total?

  • Answer:

Take a taxi to Egg Harbor City, and then take the NJT Atlantic City Rail Line into Philadelphia. The fare is $9.50 for the Atlantic City Rail Line, and is probably around $15-$20 for the taxi. I hope this information was very helpful.

There is a shuttle bus from the Airport to the Train terminal in EGG Harbor. Take the train to Philadelphia's 30th st station. He can park & meet you there.

You'd have an easier time to getting into Philly from Baltimore-Washington Airport than Atlantic City Airport. It also means that you'll be flying Spirit Airlines. So get ready to be nickle and dimed to death (they charge extra for overhead carryons). You're going to have to start the trip in a taxi since buses and trains don't serve the airport terminals. Take a taxi to Absecon Rail Station. There you can catch a NJ Transit train to Philadelphia. http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/rail/R0090.pdf You have to watch since it can be 3 hours between trains. Train costs $9.50 each way. Taxi will probably cost around $25.
