What is the best neighborhood in Philadelphia?

What's the best neighborhood in Philadelphia for kids & a quick train ride to Market St station?

• We are moving to Philly in June with 1.5 kids ;o) and my husband will be working in Center City (market st station). I've been looking at places inside and outside of the city and now am all confused. Was set on Chestnut Hill, but there are very few town home or stand alone homes for rent. Any other neighborhoods good for quick transport to MSS AND great for kids?
