There are a few other coming up: Saturday, November 1st, 4th Annual Philadelphia Hydrocephalus WALK KICK OFF and Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. at Lloyd Hall, Boat House Row Run~Walk the Loop starts 9:00 a.m. 5 mile Run~ Walk~Ride starts 9:05 a.m. 2 mile Run~ Walk~Ride starts 9:10 a.m. 1 mile Kids Fun Run~Walk~Ride starts 9:15 a.m. November 2, 2008. Cooper-Norcross Bridge Challenge presented by AmeriHealth NJ. 10K. www.runthebridge.org The historic Ben Franklin Bridge will close to allow thousands of runners and walkers to participate in the 2008 Cooper-Norcross Bridge Challenge presented by AmeriHealth NJ--the largest 10K race in the tri-state area. This year's 10K run and 2-mile bridge walk marks the event's fifth year as part of the USA Track & Field (USATF) Mid-Atlantic Association Grand Prix attracting world-class athletes from all over the region. For the first time this year, the Bridge Challenge will be a part of the USATF NJ Grand Prix as well. All proceeds benefit the children with special needs of Larc School. The MS Challenge Walk is this coming weekend. It is a 30 mile 2 day walk. It is actually in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The following weekend is the light the night walk at Penns Landing. This walk is for lukemia and lyphoma.
