What do you think about Michael Nutter being sworn in as the next Mayor of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania?

I am glad that Mike Nutter is the Mayor. I am sure that with his changes in the administration, it will make a big difference for Philadelphia. John Street was a piece of poop on a shoe!! How will I most remember Street: While the City was in the heights of murders, that jerk was waiting outside the Apple store to buy a freaking I-Phone!!! I am so glad Street is gone!!!

I think it's great. We need a professional administrator who understand modern administration. Let's hope he can revamp some of the ridiculously outdated departments the city has now.

Being from a Democratic city like Philly, we're still doomed. Can Mike Nutter stop all the crime? No. Can he take all the drug dealers off the street? No. Will he eliminate the illegal guns being sold? No. Will he balance the city budget? Maybe. Are the streets still going to ripped up? Yup. Will the murder rate average continue at one-a-day? Yep. We're doomed! Did I move out of the city just before he took office? Yeah. Why? Because we need a Republican in office to clean this city up! Think Rudy will come and help us out?

Blah Blah with all that republican mess.....either way the city is in shambles. Right now, anyone is going to do a better job than Street. Nutter is the most conservative democrat this city has seen in a loooong time so he's a welcome change. No one can would be able to clean up all the crime but at least he is taking steps to reduce it. I think we are going to see a positive change finally in our city.

Nothing can be worse than John Street. He put this city in a bad position in many areas. Hopefully Nutter will make some progress for the city and for the people who still have not chose to leave. We'll just have to wait and see.

I'm not saying he is going to be great, but he can be equally as F'd up as Street was. Give it time. We'll find out. I hope he is fair to the citizens and the municipal employees that serve us all.

Nutter can't do any worse of a job than Street, so I say hats off to Nutter and good luck! He has his work cut out for him. Philadelphia is a beautiful city, but man so many problems....I sure wouldn't want his job! OUF!

Thank God! Street was the worst mayor ever. He's put this city in such a hole. It'll take Nutter a while for him to get this city back on top. I don't think Nutter would sit waiting for an i-phone to go on sale. During working hours. While important things are going on. He's sitting in a chair outside waiting for the i-phone to go on sale.
