yay! congrats! i'm actually heading down to orlando ask i'm typing. i was on the program aug 05 - aug 06. it was a blast! u want to check in pretty early, just to make sure u get some choices. u can either stay in vista or chatham. vista is probably a better choice if ur not bringing a car with you, u can walk to walgreens, bennigan's, chik-fil-a, and wendy's. chatham is a lot nicer than vista though, the outlet mall is about a 15 min walk from there. but u also have the american coach buses that will literally take u anywhere. u don't start work right away, u'll go through a few days of training, first day is traditions at DU (Disney University), then u'll go through area training (the park or resort where u'll be working, and then u'll have ur actually location training. do u know where ur working yet? i work in the magic kingdom at Tony's. if u have any questions, i'll be more than happy to help. feel free to email me. i'm just visiting for a day tomorrow, but i'll be back working over the summer. have fun on ur program!

Hey, congratulations! My daughter interviewed with them a few days ago ... we're just waiting for word back on whether she was accepted or not. Although I don't have any personal experiences with the program, here's a link to a blog with personal accounts and comments about their time with Disney. Hope you have a BLAST! Congratulations! http://www.thedisneyblog.com/tdb/2007/02/life_in_the_wal.html

I am alumni of Spring 2005. I went superearly because I could not sleep the night before and my hotel was like, right across from the checkin-@Vista. looking back, I am glad I went a little early, probably at 8, because then you get thru the lines quicker. however, if you get to stand in line longer, you meet more people! If you go early, you may have more selection over where you get placed, and how many roommates you want......wait....when are you going? I might be giving away all the good secrets, and I'm probably going back in fall 2007! seriously, if you have anymore questions email me.
