  I used to want to be an Imagineer, too. I went to the World Science Festival in 2008, and they had a presentation called the "Science of Disney Imagineering." It was so cool! They had representatives come from different disciplines of Imagineering. So if you're kept updated on the World Science Festival (http://www.worldsciencefestival.com/) then maybe they'll have the presentation again. Also, look into the Imagineering books.
