When is the tax-free week, for Florida?

How much would 2 tickets to Disney World for 1 week cost plus the campground? (Orlando, Florida)?

  • My friend and I decided that sometime after we graduate high school we are planning to go to Disney World in Orlando Florida. We talked about it and said the plan was to rent an RV and stay at one of the campgrounds. We do Disney World for 1 week, and we are planning to go there for 2 weeks and plan to spend the other week exploring more around Florida. Now we need to know how much the tickets and the campground would cost altogether. We plan to go to all of the parks, except the water parks which we haven't really decided on yet. We aren't from Florida if you want to know. If there is more information for you to answer this question, let me know in your answer. But if you can answer this question, please tell me how much would 2 one week tickets at Disney World cost including the campground?

  • Answer:

I can give you an idea of what it might cost, but you should consider all of the factors that are going to influence the price of your trip. For one thing, since you are planning on going after you graduate, WHEN you graduate matters. 2011? 2012? Some other year? Things like ticket prices will typically go up every year, so it will probably cost more later than what it costs now. Also, are you planning on going during the summer, fall, etc.? If you go during peak season it will cost more than going during off season. Another thing to consider is that if you are planning on going right after you graduate you would probably both be 18, which can mean problems even if you just wanted to rent a car. I personally haven't ever rented an RV, but I'm sure there are more restrictions on that than renting a car, and it can be quite difficult for someone of your age to get any type of rental vehicle. That all being said, here is an example of what you might be looking at: I picked the dates 6/6/11 - 6/13/11, Full Hook-Up Campsite at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, 7-day base ticket and the price was $1188.84. If you add any type of dining plan (which I would highly recommend as it will save you money on food) the price goes up. For example, if you add the quick-service dining plan onto the package I priced the price becomes $1678.70. If you want to do some research on your own (which I highly recommend) then you can just go to the Disney World website and try out different options to see what would work best for you: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/
