Disney Dining Plan: Can you use two quick service credits for a table-service meal?

  • I've read there is some flexibility. You can use two table-service credits for signature dining, and can get two snacks for one quick-service credit, or something. I don't think I want to spend the extra for the plus dining plan with a table service meal every day, but I want to do one or two table service meals. Is there any way to apply any of your credits on the basic dining plan to a table service restaurant, or do you just have to pay cash for that meal, and probably have some dining credits left over since you skipped a meal on the plan?

    No, you can't use quick service credits for table service meals, even if you double them. You really should consider going on the regular dining plan that includes some quick service and some table service meals. The sit-down restaurants at Disney are out of this world. With the meal plan, you REALLY get your money's worth, because you're saving on world class meals that are pretty expensive when paid out of pocket. The terrific dining experiences really enhanced our last vacation there.

NO. you cannot use two quick service credit for a table service meal. if you were to get the quick service dining plan then yes you would have to pay for table service meals out of pocket and that would just be DUMB cuz you would be spending way more in the long run by doing that then if you just got the correct dining plan for your needs in the first place.

I am pretty sure you can not double up on quick service meals to get one table service meal. I think disney does this on purpose. But i have to tell you if you are at all wanting to do table service meals, go for the package... it is worth the money! Also visit disboards.com where us disney freaks live online! :)

No they are only good for what they are listed as. You can only get snacks for snack credits. Quick Serves for Quick Serves. Table meal for Table meal. Where you might be confused is some of the nice sit down places take TWO table credits. Some people will pass on that and just pay out of pocket and some people will use up the two credits. Also some of the "snacks" might seem more like a meal than a snack. One morning I got eggs (under $8) and one night I got a moster slice of pizza. I HIGHLY suggest that you just pay the few extra bucks and get the one snack, one quick serve and one sit down meal. You might think that you only want a sit down a few times but you will get really tired of eating junk food. Plus you can also use the sit downs for character meals and buffets such as the Crystal Palace. Its not fancy or anything, just a good buffet that is better than a trip filled with pizza a chicken fingers. Plus it can be a great way to start a day if you want a really nice breakfast. You can always skip any of your credits but know you wont get that money back. We usually only have snack credits left and we load up on goodies to take home. Goofys candy shop is a great place to do that.
