How busy is Universal Studios in August?

Universal Studios Orlando, Florida in December how long to expect lines/busy?

  • We will arrive in Orlando December 18th and are hoping to get the theme park out of the way. So which will be the least busy day? Sunday the 19th or Monday the 20th? Do we need the fast pass? Should be do both parks (US and IOA) ? Also what to wear? Will the beaches be warm enough to swim? Thanks

    About 2 years ago i used to go the exact same time every year for about 6 or 7 years and it was never that busy. After christmas day is usually better than before but ive never hasd to que for very long at all. It's usually a pretty quiet time of year. But havent been in like 2 years so things may have changed? considering Harry Potter thing has only just opened a few months, it might be really busy! Going back this year so im hoping it wont be busy!

monday would be less busy, always use a fast pass, and plan around it, if you don't need it great, also if your time limit has expired they still let you in.

Go Monday. Most of the locals will be at work. I live near Orlando but don't go to the parks too often. But my Disney friends say the least busiest time of the year is between Thanksgiving and X Mas.
