Answer:
Get into your car and visit Kennedy Space Center, the visitors center is free and you can pay for a tour of the cape also if you feel free to do so. Also the beaches are nice along the space coast.

Here's a big list for you. Some of them may not quite be appropriate for the toddler, but I wanted to make a full list anyway. Recreation: # Lake Eola Park: This downtown Orlando centerpiece offers 43 acres for exploration and recreation, including fountains, a walking path, playgrounds, swans to feed and swan shaped paddle boats and gondolas (for a slight fee.) # Park Ave in Downtown Winter Park: Bordered by a shady park that plays host to concerts and art festivals, Park Avenue is home to one-of-a-kind boutiques and well known shops, sidewalk cafes and world class restaurants, as well as world renowned art collections in the area's museums. # Harry P. Leu Gardens: Admission is free on Mondays. Guests can enjoy three miles of walkways, rose gardens, a butterfly garden, ancient oak trees, and more. # Ocala National Forest: A great place to experience natural Florida. The Florida Trail is a popular hike, where you can view hardwood forests, swamps, springs, and prairies. You can also canoe, picnic, hike and more. # Kelly Park: This park offers over 248 acres of outdoor fun and excitement! A crystal clear spring is the focus of this park, with water sports, including tubing, and rock climbing available! # Tibet Butler Preserve: This nature and wildlife preserve features 4 miles of hiking. The learning center, paths, and facilities are very well kept. The terrain is not difficult at all, and they offer a lot of support materials so you can find out about what you are seeing and hearing. # Farmer Markets: There are weekly farmer markets in Winter Park, at Lake Eola, and in Celebration. Museums: # Cornell Fine Arts Museum: This museum showcases over 6,000 art pieces ranging from the Renaissance to the Baroque period. Art lovers of all ages will not want to miss one of the oldest collections in all of Florida. # Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art: Home to the most comprehensive collection of Louis Comfort Tiffany. The natural areas are a wonderful place for learning, teaching, relaxing or playing. Don H gave a great answer so there is not much I could add Maybe Wekiva Springs State park (nominal charge) or visit one of the many towns like Longwood or Mount Dora, especially when it is fair time. I have lived in the Orlando area for many, many years but I had never visited the Debary mansion. Home of the founder of the town of Debary abt 120 years ago. Very interesting. If yoiu enjoy a certain type of shopping, I believe that the Sanford Flea Market is one of the largest in the world.
