How is the weather in Orlando, FL the first week in June?
-
My husband and I are trying to plan a vacation this June 2011, and we like going to theme parks, and love Orlando. We won't get a chance to get there this spring, so we are taking a vacation during our Anniversay in June. Is it miserable in Orlando, FL in June? If you have experiences of going to Orlando in June, please share. Thanks!

Answer:
This is my favorite time to go because of the weather! It's usually around the high 80's and 90's. It's not ALWAYS humid, but it can be. Every time I've gone in May/June it has rained but it didn't rain everyday. Every time I go it usually rains for one to two days of the week I'm there. However, it stops raining after about 20-30 minutes. I've experienced one thunderstorm that lasted about an hour, but that was the only time. Wear light clothing, drink lots of water, wear comfortable shoes so that if it rains you can still be comfortable in wet shoes! Have a MAGICAL time! :)

June in Central Florida is a maybe month. Should not be as hot as August nor as rainy. But I would not place a bet on it. Could also be cooler, but not under 75 F. Should have some rain, but usually for less than 20 minutes. . Everything in this area is air conditioned, including many if not most of the theme park attractions. We have been here for 36 years and have made it so far.

well . . if you go to Yahoo weather and type in Olando Fla, then go to extended forecast, then go to 10 day forecast, then hit "averages and records" button . . it will bring up a chart that you can see the average temperatures etc. I've provided it below . . but go ahead and check out how to get there . . you can apply it to all your trips http://www.weather.com/weather/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/USFL0372 fyi . . temperature averages between 71 and 91 degrees . . so it's doubtful you'll need a coat . . more likely a floppy hat, light clothing and sun screen. Check out average percipitation on the bottom of the chart . . Wow! . . June is the rainiest month at 7.35 inches . . . I'm sure you can buy cheap disposable umbrellas at the supermarket Although not known for theme parks . . . check out beach cities along the Southern California coastline . . some of the most idyllic weather in the world . . No Foolin! And there,s Sea World in San Diego as well as the San Diego Zoo . . and of course the Original Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm both in Buena Park . . only a few miles from Newport, Balboa, and other beautiful locals at the beach

It's going to be hot. It's already in the high 80's in Orlando right now. It all depends on what mother nature decides it's going to be. It may be pleasant and it maybe very hot and humid.

Beginning to warm up, the afternoon rains are starting. Not miserable, not as good as April, not as bad as August.
