What do you need to get a UK passport?

I have a UK passport- what do i need to get into Orlando?

  • Ive already done the Visa waiver where i basically filled in an online form and it was approved basically straight away - i just wanted to make sure this is all i need to do, or that even if not, its something i can sort out at the airport? thanks

    The first answer is correct and if you have received the ESTA confirmation that is all you need to do. https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/ http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/without/without_1990.html You do need a return or onward air ticket leaving North America within the 90 days allowed per visit on the Visa Waiver Program, so have a copy of your air ticket confirmation with you at Immigration. It's also a good idea to have copies of any hotel reservations. The USA is in the process of phasing out the paper forms completed on the aircraft on the way to the US. If you > don't < get a form to complete (which will be stamped and given back to you) then make sure you know what to do to document your departure from the USA. http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/id_visa/i-94_instructions/cbp_i94w_form.xml Do check with your home medical insurance to find out if it covers you in the USA. If yes then take proof of coverage with you. If no or not sure you should get travel medical insurance, which is cheap and sold by airlines & travel agents. The USA has wonderful medical care, but it isn't free or even cheap. Finally, Immigration Officers everywhere ask the same questions and you should be prepared to answer them: What is the purpose of your visit? How long will you stay? Where will you stay? That's all you need, on the plane you may still be required to fill a green form I-94-W with the same questions as for the online application. The U.S: government is in process to abolish the paperwork, but they are doing it step by step. Make sure that you have a valid return flight ticket, otherwise you may run into problems on entry..
