What's some cool stuff to do in Orlando?

  • What's some cool stuff to do in Orlando? I'm going to be there on business for a week and going to have a lot of free time and was looking for some things to do? I'm a guy in my early twenties so not looking for things like disney stuff more interested in bars and clubs and partying and also maybe doing a little golfing while I'm down there. Any suggestions?

    the best bars are at the big disney night club. it's huge / there are about 20 of the bars in different themes / tons of people. there is a large covercharge something like 25.00 dollars or something ? no kids are allowed . it's the party for all over 21's only. can't recall. it's been too long ago. check with younger folks to make sure this is still the best in Orlando. too far to travel to beaches probably in your situation. i do not know of any golf places.

The best place for restaurants and fun is International Drive. the main place for locations as all the theme parks are surrounding it. Downtown Orlando is quite good for bars and clubs. Downtown Disney is a good place for shopping, but the club and bar filled Pleasure Island is joint right next to it. Universals City Walk is good, because it has many clubs, bars and restaurants, but it also has Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Theme Parks joined together. I would personally say that Universal City Walk is the best.

well to island of adventure lots of roller coster there is a lot of golf and goi to dance

Try International drive for loads of nice clubs. Also I highly recommend disney quest in downtown disney . Not really like a disney place more like an amusment arcade but once you have paid the games are included with lots virtual stuff. Perfect for your age group, There is also plenty of nice bowling alley and other normal type stuff including the cinema. The main strip of bars is downtown on or around Orange Avenue, any taxi can take you there. I like Chillers and Antigua (on Church st. crossing Orange Ave) personally. As for golf, there are a ton of places to play in Orlando and Florida in general, I would suggest Grande Pines or one of the Disney courses if you don't want to go far.
