Well when I graduated from high school (2002) we had the same problem , we didn't know how to come up with the money for our trip so, you know how every school has a year book? well we made one but it was a dvd instead of the famous book and they sold out quick. We sold them for $20.00 and believe it or not we raised over $15,000. We had a "film and Photograph" club so they were in charge of recording the different activities like soccer, football games, swimming practice, they filmed like every person in charge of school (principal, vice principal etc...) school parties and they made it very fun; then they edited the video at school and just burned the dvd into like 700 + copies and like I said we sold them for $20.00 each. We had a lot of money for our trip so we had a really fancy one. Hope this helped! Good Luck.

You could do a raffle. If you have some items you could have a yard sale. Sell stuff on craigslist or ebay ...

When my son was in high school, there was always one club/class/group or another selling home-baked cookies or brownies or cupcakes. You could have a bottle/can drive - ask people to save them for you rather than taking them back to the store themselves. Get some local businesses to donate "prizes" and then raffle them off at a school dance - your class might even be able to sponsor the dance. [We used to call them "sock hops" when I was a teen - don't know what you call them now!!] Have a "penny drive". Each class or club or whatever has a big jug and people drop in their change [or even bills!] and whichever class gets the most "wins". You might want to make it so that half of the donations go to some type of charity in your school or community.

The high school my daughter goes to, just had a Pasta Party. Parents donated bottles of soda, & desserts. A local business that makes salads donated the salad. Some parents donated boxes of pasta, & a local caterer cooked it up, & donated the sauce. Another store donated bread & butter. They put red & white tablecloths on the tables in the cafeteria, & charged $5 per person. They made a lot of money. Good Luck.

Do a Joe Corbi's fundraiser! They sell pizza's and the such, thier stuff is really good and you get a 50% profit! Not a bad deal and they deliver within a few weeks! Little Ceasers does a pizza fundraiser too! Joe Corbi"s 1-888-526*7247 or www.joecorbi.com. Gertrude Hawk is another good one! Try a spagehhtti dinner too! Good luck!

Car washes are always good and bake sales. Stores usually let you camp out in front of them and use their space to help the community

if your school has an improv troupe then ask them if they will do a show--our theatre only holds 150 people and we make over 1000 dollars every time (sell concessions)
