What are the best resorts in Mallorca?

Disney World Resorts at Christmas?

  • Hi, me and my sister are flying down to Orlando to see my other sister for Christmas. We were interested in seeing the decorations at the Disney resorts and are trying to schedule in some time to go see them. We just had a few questions. 1.) Can anyone go inside to see the decorations, or just resort guests? 2.) Are you only allowed to go see these decorations at a certain time of day? For example, would we still be able to go see them at evening time? 3.) In conjunction w/ the previous question- Are the decorations (i.e- gingerbread houses/carousels) open all day or do they close at a certain time? 4.) Do all the resorts have decorations? 5.) What's the best way to get to the resorts? My sister who lives there has a car we're driving around- do they have parking (free?) or would it be better to take the Disney busses? Any other information you have on the resorts at Christmas time would be wonderful :) Thank you!!

Hi! Exciting & beautiful time to go to Disney....Christmas! Answers: 1) You can go into any resort and tour the resort and see the Christmas Decorations. We did that last year. It's wonderful to see the different Christmas themes each resort does. 2) Nope, you can go see them any time of day. Yes you can see the decorations in the evening. 3) All of the main Christmas decorations (ex. Gingerbread House) are usually in the lobbies of the hotel. For example, a life-sized, edible gingerbread house in the lobby of the Grand Floridian resort. Each year, starting in November, the resorts are decorated for the holiday season. Disney chefs create life-sized treats such as this one. Inside the Gingerbread house is a little store that sells items that they used to build the gingerbread house (ex. shingles, etc). I've been in there buying stuff as late as 10 pm. The hours will be posted on the house. However, viewing it and taking pictures near it along with the huge tree can be time all times of time. 4) Yes all the resorts have decorations. Some more elaborate then the others but all of them do. 5) Yes you can park say at the Contemporary. Tell the guard you are viewing the decorations at the resort. You can then tour the Contemporary and then take the monorail to the Polynesian, then the Grand Floridian. If you don't want to drive to Wilderness Lodge you can take a boat over there from the Contemporary. The rest of the resorts you would have to drive to. I hope that helps a bit!

you don't need to be a guest at all! it's fantastic! my suggestion with the car- go to downtown disney/disney village park there-wander around, they should still have an ice skating rink in d.village which is a lot of fun! and then take a bus to a resort where monorails run through (polynesion/contemporary) that monorail will take you to a couple or resorts, you get to see magic kingdom and epcot. and once you get to the line for the monorail ask one of the assistants if you can sit in the very front-it's a great experience! get off at the ticket and transporation center-get on the other monorail and you get to see even more resorts! then you can grab a bus (at any resort) and go back to downtown disney/ d village. have fun!
