What is the best place to learn to surf at Cocoa Beach?

  • Okay, so my family and I going to Florida and Cocoa Beach. My cousin and myself want to learn how to surf while we are there. I searched online and all the prices are similar or the same. I was looking at Ron Jon's Surf School, Bilt Surf and Skate, Cocoa Beach Surf Comany, and others where new begginers can learn to surf. So my question is what place is the best or where did you have a good experience?

    Go w/Bilt. Each shop has its own appeal. We all know Ron Jon's to be that mega-tourist surf shop. CBSC is better for buying/renting surfboards. Bilt, the smallest of the 3, hasn't "compromised" its homegrown roots. Out of the several dozen people I've known who've taken lessons, Bilt edges out the others (although you can't really go wrong w/any).
