What channel is disney channel?

i live in canada and i watch family channel but i heard that new shows like wizards of waverly place and phineas and ferb are coming out on disney channel. what channel is it? is it the same as family channel?

The Disney channel is a different channel than the family channel, though both are owned by Disney. What number it is will depend on where you are, each cable/satellite system will have it at a different place. Call you cable/satellite provider and they will give you a list of channels, or check for a TV guide type of channel that shows whats on each channel, you might also try the providers website. Also some cable or satellite companies will have a search feature, try menu on your remote. If you do not have cable or satellite you cant get the Disney Channel because its considered a premium channel, but since your getting family you should be able to get it.
