Disney world for five days with 22 people. help please?

  • okay well me and my family are DRIVING to orlando florida disney world in march 2010 from houston texas. how long is the car ride? well my dad says its like $40 a person for one theme park. and theres twenty-two people so yeah we can only choose one or two theme parks. Which theme parks would you say is the one with most thrill rides or rides that just give you that adrenaline. what should i bring on the car ride to burn time. we might rent a van beacuase theres 8 or 7 people riding in the same car as me. so i cant bring things that are huge you know what i mean? we are also staying at the reunion resort 5 bedroom house. theres 5 teenagers (including me) 4 or 5 kids, and like 3 or 2 babies. the rest are our parents/gma gpa. what should i bring for us teenagers/kids to do in the hotel or house w/e when we get bored at night? im already bringing my nintendo wii but what else beacause only 4 people can play the wii at a time. so yeah can anyone help me out here?

    1) The drive is about 14 hours 25 minutes according to google maps if you take I-10 E. If you take I-20 E it will take you almost 20 hours. 2) Theme parks are much higher than $40 a person. Disney is $75 for one day admission, and Universal is around the same, because it will be a peak season, since it's Spring break. In this case - go to Universal and do the park hopper (2 parks 1 day).. It's around $84 for the day, and you get access to both parks. They have tons of thrill rides. If you have to choose just one, go to Islands of Adventure at Universal.. it has the most thrill rides. Another option is Sea World, although you might find it a waste of your one theme park. 3) In the car to burn time, bring books, your ipod, magazines, maybe a portable DVD player to watch movies. You could also sleep as well. 14 hours isn't as bad as it seems! 4) The wii will be fun. There's also always movies on the tv and good shows on - especially March break. You could also swim at night (most pools have lights!) Hope this helps

Honey I live near Galveston and if we drive straight through on Interstate 10 it takes us about 17 hours. It's a nice drive that we have done several times. Make sure that you get on Interstate 12 in Louisiana and that will save you time instead of going through New Orleans. I would just take crossword puzzles and stuff like that because most people take too much stuff that they never use and it takes up room. Believe me Sweetie you will never get bored at Disney and you'll be so tired when you come back to the room that all you will do is sleep. Why don't ya'll get the Park Hopper tickets and then you can all go to every park? If you go to disney.com they will send you a video when everything you need to know on it. Well my fellow Texans please enjoy your trip. It's worth every penny.

Price for a disney ticket for one day for one park is $75.00. not $40.00 The more days you buy park tickets for, the more the price per day goes down.If you are only going for two days the price still is not going to be $40.00 -please check the disney web site for ticket pricing. Bring some books to read-go to the pool.

First, have someone in your family call Walt Disney World guest services and speak to them about your large group visiting. They will give you a lot of tips, like, if you buy the WDW ten day package, the price per park, per person, drops to about $25.00 per person. You and your family members could visit tripadvisor.com, a free website to join, and type in Orlando to the search box, and you can access the Orlando forum for more info on WDW, Universal Studios and other things to do in Orlando, both free and that you pay for and lots of discounts. There is a booklet you can order (link is in the Orlando forum) that has two, buy one get one free coupons in it for Gatorland Zoo, they have white alligators on display there now. For the most thrill rides, Islands of Adventure is probably best. If you have never done Magic Kingdom, you should try to do it. Universal Studios/IOA may still have a seven day for about $100.00 per person deal. Take several decks of playing cards for games, you can play war, poker, rummy, and many more games, even the adults may enjoy playing cards. Take a few board games and maybe some dominoes. Plan to use the pool a lot. Good luck and have fun.

okay, i've never been in a plane. We drive all the time. it takes about two days if you want breaks to stretch you legs, release anger against someone hitting you the entire time, and so forth. there are differnt rides in every theme park. thrill rides look below: Studios- Rock&rollar coaster Magic Kingdom- Splash Mountain, thunder mountain railroad Animal Kingdom- Mt Everest Epcot- Sorin, Mission Space as far as the car ride goes, Bring your ipod, movies, a pad to doodle on. bring as many things as you think you need. you can bring travel size boardgames to play back at the hotel. or you can walk around the hotel and shops and stuff. I think that you'll have a great time. :)
