Where can I go in Orlando for Clubbing?

  • Hi are there any good clubs / bars I could go to in Orlando? Or are they all really rubbish? :-P I would prefer to go somewhere tourist friendly Thanks :-)

    Universal CityWalk has nightclubs, restaurants, the Hard Rock concert hall (Hard Rock Live Coliseum), a movie theater and and other entertainment venues. It is tourist friendly, and locals also visit. It is part of the Universal Orlando complex, you use the same parking lots for Citywalk and for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Pointe Orlando is another complex that is tourist friendly and where locals go to as well. B. B. King's Blues Club is there. There is also an Improv/Comedy club, several restaurants and bars, other entertainment venues, and a movie theater with IMAX screens and stadium seating (this is my favorite movie theater in the area). I drive to Pointe Orlando from downtown Orlando for the movie theater and for B. B. Kings. Pointe Orlando is near International Drive. You can find other ideas by looking through a local Arts and Entertainment newspaper. The "Orlando Weekly" is a little alternative, but I think it has the best collection of information and reviews for local clubs. There are literally hundreds of clubs around here; but they are not all 'tourist friendly'.
