Fun and cheap things to do in Orlando, FL?

  • We are already going to Universal Studios one day and Disneyworld the other. We are going to be there for a total of 5 days so we are wondering on what are some other fun and cheap things to do since we are already spending a lot of money on those two things. And which do you think is the best park at Disneyworld. Idon'tt think we are going to get parkhopper tickets...

    Free things to do at DisneyWorld: - Go the beach at the Polynesian and watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom and then stick around for the electrical water pageant 15 minutes later that will go around the lagoon. - Ride the monorail. (If you have kids and are patient you can wait and have them ride in front with the operator) - Explore all the resorts. Some of them like the Pop Century have great photo ops and places to play. - Take the ferry/boat between hotels and parks - Visit the butterfly garden by the Port Orleans hotel. - In Downtown Disney visit the lego play area to see sculpture and a huge free lego play area for the kids - Watch the street performers in Downtown Disney - Do the hidden mickey hunt at the fort wilderness hotel and go to the petting farm Of course the most classic and well known park is Magic Kingdom. Would it feel like Disney without going up the castle? My personal favorite however is Hollywood Studios for the rides.

For an inexpensive day you can visit "Old Town" Florida in Kissimee. For a zero cost day, you can visit Celebration, FL and walk through the shops and hotel, or play at the fountains. Depending on your sales resistance you can visit Lake Buena Vista, and build Leggo castles, or get wet in the fountains, get t-shirts.. Or while at the Disney complex, take the free ferry boat over to Fort Wilderness and hang out at the beach. If you have never been to Disney, you'll need to see Magic Kingdom, and Epcot. All of the theme parks are great but expensive.

you can go mini golfing in the nice parks of international drive, also to water parks which are not that expensive. you can go to a casino cruise called sterling casino, which is free but you need to make reservations. also their are museums and walking night life tourist places like down town disney and citywalk. look up these places in the net for more info.
