Is the water too cold on Pacific Beach Ca to swim?

Do you need to know how to swim if you go to a water park? such as blizzard beach orlando?

  • Im probably going to a water park called blizzard beach today and the rides seem scary. Well the water rides. So when i go down a slide, will it hurt to fall>? and do you need to know how to swim??? or its better nto to go

    Most of the water slides empty into a pool that is about3-4 ft deep so if you are taller than that you will be able to stand up. Some slides gives you "butterflies" in your tummy when you drop but it will not hurt. You dont need to know how to swim there are many things there like a the river where you can grab a tube and have as much fun as the people that know how to swim. If you need help wave down a lifeguard they will be happy to help you drowning or not.

As Josh said, the water a water parks is usually only 3 feet deep. Have a friend or your brother or sister go first, stand up, and wait for you when you reach the water. They can make sure that you stand up.

I guess that depends on the person. I was 11 when I went to Blizzard Beach for the first time, and of course it seemed scary, but i absolutely felt no pain. It was so much fun actually! :) And i guess for the slides you don't need to know how to swim, as long as you're tall enough to be able to walk inside the pool. There's a wave pool though and its kind of deep, so don't get in that one, just in case. Hope you have fun!

If you cant swim, i wouldnt go. The slide wont hurt at all, unless you fall off. But if your just going down like anyone else, it wont hurt. But if you cant swim, i would forget it. Its usually crowded, but i am sure someone could save you.
