What do you think of the following Disney Resorts?

stay at POP CENTURY! in my opinion its the best value resort. its the newest and most well kept. there are 3 pools and they all have different themes. the 50's pool is shaped like a bowling pin, the 60's pool is hippie dippie and shaped like a hippie flower, and the 90's pool is a square but it is supposed to look like the monitor to a computer. (it has a huge rubber keyboard you can walk on and play on outside of the pool. there are huge replicas of icon from pop culture all over the resort such as a huge big wheel bike, mickey phone, a fuze ball table field, mr and mrs potatoe head, giant floppy disks, and a twister board that you can actually play twister on. (has a spinner and everything) and the lobby is cool too. there are glass cases along the wall with different toys and electronics from all the decades. they even have an arcade in the main building. and the dining area is awesome too. the food is really good. and there's alot of variety. last time i went i recall getting grilled chicken alfredo, spinash calzone, chili dog. the food is soooo good. if you get a prefered room you will stay in a building closer to the main building and the buses. if you get a standard room you will be staying in a building that is a bit farther away from the main building and buses. if you don't mind the extra 3-4 minute walk then i suggest saving the extra $13 per night that they charge you fo rthe prefered room and just pick a standard room. one main con to staying in any of the "all star" hotels is that all three hotels share the same bus line so its always crowded and you'll have to stand most of the time where as pop century has its own bus line. its much more efficient and at least in the morning there is usually a place to sit.

I agree, the Pop Century! If you stay there, be sure to get a frozen coke!

We stayed at the Pop Century in December of 2007 with then 3 year old twins and an 8 year old girl. They all loved it! I also liked that there was bus transportation that you didnt' share with any other resorts...it is only for Pop Century. We were on the first floor and every morning the kids ran "up" the bowling pin (the stairwell!) on our way to breakfast. The pools are cool and there are numerous iconic things around like a giant Rubik's cube etc. That said, we've had friends who stayed at the All-Star Movie and also had a great experience. Personal opinion: if your boys are big sports, movie or music fans stay at one of those resorts. If not....stay at the Pop!

If they like sports stay at the sports if they like music stay at the music if they like neither stay at the pop.

Disney All Sports Resort- bad Disney Pop Century Resorts- great Disney All Star Music Resorts-bad Disney All Star Movie Resorts-ok I would stay in Pop Century. It's the best by FAR. Not only is it the cleanest, best service, best food but in my opinion, it has the most fun theme. Your boys will LOVE it. Thats the resort with "disney magic". Plus, Pop Century is the only value resort with its own busses so you get to the parks first and get in line first. This resort has 3 pools and your kids will love it. But, if you dont enjoy noise request a room not by the pool because all of the value resorts get quite loud at night time. Hope I helped! And have fun in the most Magical Place on earth!!!

I would suggest the Pop Century because its the Newest. All the resorts are great for children but the All Star Movie, Music, and Sports are a little run down. The Pop century just opened about a year ago so its new and clean. I hope you have a good time on your vacation =D.

they are all the same they are meh. i never stayed at them. they are motels though. when you walk out of your room...you are outside...(granted there are middle tier resorts like that too (port orleans for example))

pop century is the best. it costs the same as the other ones and its better
