Express Pass vs. Staying at Universal Studios Orlando?

• I am interested in getting an express pass when my family and I go to Universal Studios Orlando this June but I am not sure if I should get our family of 5 express passes or just stay at the Universal Studio Hotel (which provides them free of charge). Any thoughts on this would be helpful. Thanks, Jake P.S Do you think the express pass will work for the Harry Potter part of the park and the new Rip Rocking Roller coaster?

  If you can afford it, I would stay at one of the on-site hotels. The summer will be very crowded and the Express Pass will be well worth it. When you stay on-site your have unlimited access to the using the pass on all the rides for a unlimited amount of times. When you purchase an Express Pass it is only good once for each ride. They have said that once the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is open and you are staying on-site that you will only be able to ride each new ride once per day. I'm thinking that's because it's going to be very busy and lots of people will be there to see the new attractions.
