Is the express pass worth the extra money at universal orlando?

    Just got back from Universal and I would say yes depending on the time you go. If you go on during the week you might be able to get away without it. It is also going to depend on what rides you like. For instance the hulk ride always is about a 90min wait while with the express pass the average wait is 15min. Popeye can get to where there is approx a 60 min wait and you are on the ride in 10min. You can buy the passes at the park, but beware you must request that they be for both parks if you are hopping. The pass you buy at Universal is not good for Islands of Adventure, they get you coming and going. Check out there web site for the prices for the express, since the prices change for different dates. But I can tell you busy season Islands of Adventures rides waits are on average 60-90min. Universal 45-60min.`

yes it is worth it although I believe its still too pricey. If you stay at one of the hotels on Universal's property then you can use your room key as the express pass for no additional charge.

yes, it is worth it, but if I remember right you can only get so many express passes at one time. as someone who has waited over an hour in a queue it is well worth it. there is so much to see and do yu don't want to waste time - plus they are free so why not.

Personally I would rather stay on site and have use of the unlimited express pass. It really depends on when you go. If you go sometime other than spring break, thanksgiving week or Xmas week, you can get by without it with a little planning. Visit on a week day Arrive at the gate 30 min before posted opening head to the high demand rides first
