It is going to rain while I am in Orlando, FL. What can I do for fun?

The parks won't close if it rains, just the waterparks if there's thunder and lightning. It may not rain all day, so if you do go to a park on a rainy day, do the indoor rides when it's raining, and an outdoor ride when there's a break from the rain. I really recommend going to Hollywood Studios (MGM) because most of the rides there are indoors. The kids might also want to go to Disney Quest at Downtown Disney West Side, and they also have a movie that at Downtown Disney West Side. You could always do some shopping at Downtown Disney Marketplace. They have a bunch of different restaurants, Disney shops, a few candy shops, and great entertainment. Anyway, I think you'll be fine if you do a theme park. You may want to bring an umbrella or a rain poncho.

I was just down there this past week. Actually, I was there for a week and a half and got back on Sunday. I went to Disney's Park last Wednesday and Thursday and according to the weather, they also said that it was going to rain and storm. We decided to try our luck went anyway. Our first day (Wed.) didn't rain like they had predicted but our second day, it did rain. But don't worry. The parks will STILL be open, some rides will continue to be open because a lot of the rides are indoors and for the few that are outdoors (which is only a couple rides), they might be closed. Oh, and do plan on bringing our own Ponchos. Toss a couple in your backpacks in case it does rain. Disney does sell their own Ponchos but it costs like $8 for adult ponchos and I forgot how much for kid ponchos. They're pricy! You can get ponchos from Wal-Mart for like $3!!!!

Its been more misty then rainy so i think that would continue throughout the weekend

Hi, I'm going this weekend as well and I'm worried about the weather. I'm planning on tomorrow going to city walk and sunday going to Hollywood studios. All we can do is make the most of the weather. Also it is Star Wars weekend at hollywood studios so it will be running over I bet.

GO T0 THE DISNEY WORLD PARKS. this time of year there is a chance of rain every single day. usually its not an all day rain. it usually just lasts for 30-60 minutes at a time. and then the sun comes back. and no the parks will not close just because there is a thunderstorm. the outside attractions will be shut down until the storm passes then they will get them up and running again. such rides include dumbo, splash mountain, backlot tour, lights motors action extreme car stunt show, test track, expedition everest, kali river rapids. but don't worry there are tons of rides and attractions inside buildings that will still be up and running. there is plenty to do at disney world in the rain. be sure to get a rain poncho and bring extra socks and sneakers and have fun.
